Job Purpose and Reporting Structure
Under the direction of a team leader reporting to the Vice President of Sales, supports the VCloud brand as a significant contributor to our global sales goals and business development agenda. Ideal candidate will create, maintain, and improve sales lead prospect development and strategies that drive our omnichannel contact center service offerings and consulting. The RFPA coordinates the bid process from initial RFP contact through contract signing. Guides proposal development by supporting Sales Professionals with critical RFP requirements and tasks needed for bid success.
Essential Sales Coordination Responsibilities
- Experience developing requests for proposals (RFP’s) and experience evaluating RFP responses.
- Participates in development, editing and writing of original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.
- Experience gathering business requirements for consulting, business process development, and technology projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Provides standard technical product knowledge as required.
- Participates in review of sales proposals for products and service opportunities to determine proposal feasibility.
- Replies to sales inquiries and proposal approval requests in a timely manner. Reviews and analyzes proposal requirements, ensures overall quality and 100% compliance with requests for information and other proposal requirements.
- Monitors progress to ensure RFP required tasks are completed on schedule.
- Works proactively with Company leadership to ensure that cost estimates align with requirements, contract terms and conditions.
- Supports preparation of offers, bids, contracts and other sales-related documents required by lead prospects for our service offerings.
- Reviews sales proposals for product offering opportunities to determine proposal feasibility.
- Understands standard pricing, bid strategies. Utilizes sales techniques to help sell Company products to lead prospects.
- Understands regulating authorities and their potential requirements related to HIPPA and PCI compliance.
- Provide comments and recommended adjustments to terms and conditions in a timely manner.
- Being able to proactively offer different alternatives in case of price issues or deviations from specifications.
- Keep meticulous records of interactions with lead prospects in our sales CRM platform.
- Partner with Sales Professionals to drive their sales pipelines continuously identifying enterprise opportunities.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to discuss business pipeline development and lead prospecting activity aligned with team goals.
- This sales support position requires outbound sales development including but not limited to cold calling, emailing, social media, lead prospect qualification, consultative inside sales skills, and tight collaboration with sales leadership to propel new opportunities.
Qualifications / Experience
- Motivated with a sense of urgency, due diligence, and emotional intelligence in everything that you do.
- Bachelor or Masters Degree, preferably in Law, Communication, English, or a related discipline. Candidates with real estate, insurance, or securities licenses are also eligible for consideration. Strong preference given to JD Degree holders.
- Ability to speak proficient, conversational English for global account targeting is strongly required.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of audiences, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Proven experience using account management SaaS CRM or Salesforce.
- Experience in asking common sense probing questions to further understand lead prospect needs.
- Potential for promotion, self-starter who can work independently.
- Persistence with commitment and sincere desire to pursue a career in sales.
- Understands basic concepts of contact centers, business process outsourcing (BPO), and inside-sales.
- A committed professional up-to-date with digital commerce trends and sales techniques.
- Strong communication skills and able to articulate business solutions to lead prospects.
- Coachable, co-operative, and confident attitude who “plays nice” with others.
